Individual Counselling

Individual counselling, also known as individual therapy or psychotherapy, is a collaborative process between you and a trained psychologist. Bound by a professional code of ethics, this form of therapy provides a safe and confidential space for you to explore your feelings, thoughts, and behaviors.

If you have observed a decline in your mental well-being or loved ones have expressed concern, it may be helpful to schedule an appointment with a psychologist. Seeking therapy sooner rather than later can also be beneficial.

During individual counselling sessions, you work with your psychologist to identify and better understand your concerns, set personal goals, and develop skills to cope with life challenges. Psychologists utilize various evidence-based techniques and approaches tailored to each person’s unique needs and preferences.

Individual counselling can help individuals address a wide range of issues such as anger management, anxiety, depression, bereavement, divorce, stress, etc.

Couples Counselling

Couples counselling, also known as marriage therapy is designed to help you and your partner communicate more effectively and strengthen your relationship. Evidence-based therapies are tailored to your unique needs and goals.

75 - 90 mins |  TT$400 - $450  

Family Counselling

Family counselling specializes in discussing and addressing family dynamics and relationships. Families frequently seek support to deal with changes (unexpected or otherwise), significant transitions, conflicts, shared losses, and tragedies. Difficult behaviors, violence, or substance abuse by a family member can also have a significant impact on the family as a whole. Family therapy assists family members in coping, enhancing how they communicate, and solve conflicts.

Depending on the size of the family, sessions can range from 75 - 90 minutes. If additional sessions involve smaller groups of family members, then a shorter duration may be more effective. An hourly rate will be applied.
